Thank you to all who have prayed for our ticket search. As many of you know, Donna worked for Northwest/Delta while we lived in Hibbing. She put in for a leave of absence but it was not approved. She tried to put in for vacation days but they were not being granted. Our hope was to fly to Moldova while she was still employed at Northwest so that we could fly at a significant discount. It was looking like it would not work out. We had resigned ourselves to paying for a full-price fare. Donna had put in her two week notice. All signs pointed towards her company being no help to our travels. As Donna left the office last Thursday with plans to fly to Cincinnati, she was approched with the news that a week of vacation was available! And for the week when we plan to travel! She was approved for the week of vacation which means we can fly to Romania for only the cost of taxes ($97) We can catch a shuttle from the airport in Romania to Moldova for around $150. So… we are flying to our mission field for a grand total of $247. God is so good!
WONDERFUL! God is good. I’m so thrilled you have decided to go this year. It is a wonderful opportunity for both of you and for the Raatz family. I can’t wait to hear more!
